“Play greeter for a day. Think of a department store greeter, or your favorite maitre d at a friendly restaurant. Emulate this person for a day. Open the door for someone carrying a large suitcase. Let someone else walk in front of you through a room. Take it upon yourself to instill a sense of welcome in others. You will receive positive feedback as well as good feelings that will make this a job you’d like to have all the time.”
